Things to do before you die (a chocolate-based death)
This is relatively straightforward.... just tell us what you would like to do before you die and if you had a last request what would it be? also...if you had enough time for one last song....what would it be?? happy-happy joy
Re: Things to do before you die (a chocolate-based death)
Oh gosh, how morbid, lol.
Hmm. First reaction is to have sex; I don't particularly want to die a virgin. But That's actually pretty silly. Either throw a big party, if there was time, and invite everyone over, get pissed and have a laugh.. or write everyone I know an individual letter saying how much I love them.
Last request... Steak and chips and some diet coke. (with friends, if possible, ha)
Last song... eee, um... either Hands Down by Dashboard Confessional, because I just love that song, orrr Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion - which I plan to have played at my funeral anyway, as a message to all the lovely people who bother turning up (Y)
What about yourself?

Okay... i quite like the idea of sex..... but then there would be all that chocolate about the place anyway.... it wouldn't be so bad if you died a virgin... at least you wouldn't go to hell ...erm.... i would like to tell everyone what i really think of them... just have a case of severe overdue honesty... then.... i would request to see everyone naked.... to see if it matches what was in my mind
Last song would be Life on mars by david bowie...because it always overwhelms me to hear it.... although...my funeral song would probably be dress sexy at my funeral by smog

Lmbo! Trust you to want those things! You quite strange really. I don't picture people naked all that much. Perhaps it's because I'm not male.
I don't want to die in chocolate

If there is one thing everyone must do before they die, it's see The Bucket List - see what I did there?
Saw it today, and it's one of the most amazing films I have ever seen. Really funny, but quite beautiful too! I love it!
But it made me think a bit more seriously about this question. On the day I die, what do I want to look back on my life and say I've done?
The first thing that springs to mind is have a family. I'd have to think a lot harder about the rest.
There's an Egyptian belief, or an old Egyptian belief, I can't remember which now, that says that when someone dies, before they are allowed into heaven, they are asked two questions, and the answers will decide whether or not they are accepted:
1. Have you had joy in your life?
2. Has your life brought joy to others?
So yeah, I'm asking you that

Re: Things to do before you die (a chocolate-based death)
Yes to both I am guess I am very blessed...a happy life..accepted the bad bits as I went along and always look forward and not back
Re: Things to do before you die (a chocolate-based death)
i would say yes to both... 'tis a good philosophy that.... i try to do both on a regular basis...
Re: Things to do before you die (a chocolate-based death)
I don't actually know myself. I'd say yes to 1, but I don't know about the second. How can you truely measure joy? Is it a certain level of happiness? Well, I'm not too sure my life has brought joy to someone else :S
Re: Things to do before you die (a chocolate-based death)
I am pretty sure when I say this Jo, I think I can say a resounding Yes you will have brought happyness to all of people you do it every day on here
Re: Things to do before you die (a chocolate-based death)
ah, but that was on another thread, so it does not count
Re: Things to do before you die (a chocolate-based death)
i wasn't being sarcastic either people often do this with me.... they think i am being sarcastic when i am not... and think i am being serious when i am joking..... why is this do you think?
