You may laugh at my rhymes.
You might realise that I'm not one for writing lyrics I was just bored and thought, "Hmm I think I shall write a little song about the diner."

the downtown diner
ohh that place of music
where your feet stick to that floor you'd rather not lick

gigs on a sunday night
when you should be revising
but it's hard to escape cuz the music's so enticing

my first diner gig
was halloween '06
and since then, i've never been able to resist!

I am liking it and too true, maybe we should have a thread for lyrics, would be good if you could put some music to it before your gig

I think thats a great idea, lets see who can write the best diner song, and we can have a battle of the bands just for that...any one want to enter

i don't know if i prefer Josie's original or this version... hmm.... for safety's sake i'll just say they're both beyond amazing =]

yeah... some songs just shouldn't be covered or sampled like that
