What Instruments do you play

Just interested, I know there are a number of musicians who play several instruments, so lets find out what you play, and to what standard

I'm bass! So if you were wondering which member of Luca I am, now you know.

How long have you been playing?? have you been in any other bands before Luca

Think I was 14 when I started, so about 6 years. Yeah, I've been in several bands, mainly metal ones and before Luca I was in a weird rock band, I can't think of any other way of describing it, haha.

Vocals lol. I think that should count, you have to practice, know when to rest and look after it!
I can work my way around a keyboard and knock out a simple drum loop in time haha.

Erm...I played trumpet well for a while


Now I stick to...
...drums...guitar...vocals (I start lessons tomorrow!)...orchestral percussion...steel drums incidentally! Erm...give me a couple of minutes to refrsh my memory and I can whack out something on the recorder...


Oh, keyboard instruments too to some degree...I can get 2 hands working at the same time now, simply.

I sing.
I was self taught guitar for about a year...now i have lessons
I am teaching myself Ukulele.
Im Grade 4/5 on flute maha.

and i can play some stuff on keyboard lol

My main instrument is bass, have been doing that for about 7 years, am nearing session musician standard which im trying to get to at the moment. also play electric guitar, i do it as a hobby but have been in a few bands play guitar before, would say im fairly able at guitar to play most styles.

I had my first singing lesson today...
...and I'm going to do my Grade 5 in June.

i play.... the electricguitar... the acoustic guitar... the bass guitar.... the mandolin... the digeridoo... the synthesizer keyboard.... the digeridoo.... the castanets..... the triangle.... the tambourine..... the glockenspiel..... the marimba.... the kazoo (actually the only wind instrument in my repertoire)..... the maracas.... the bongo drum.... Can't actually play drums, though i would love to.... think you generally have to be a mentalist to be a drummer.... there is not enough pro plus in the world that could make me half as good as even the worst drummers i know......

Your able to play two digeridoo's at the same time

sounds painful... where do you blow the second digeridoo from?

I thought you might tell me that, as you listed two in the instruments you play

yes i did... should have called the second one digeridon't....

So it was a deliberate mistake...I can ring bells does that count, and chopsticks on the piano

campanology is supposedly tricky.... so consider yourself gifted.... chopsticks on the piano? yeah, i can't, so 1-0 to you on that one....

I can also sing...and read music, bet you didn't guess that one

had no idea.... what sort of singing? i once started a degree in music theory... What was i thinking? 'twas tres useful though.... and when i got bored of it i think i had gathered enough info to be happy

But Ben suits your band...he is the cheeky chappie, and I like his moves

yeah, he's kind of like james brown gone wrong.... our band is getting uncontrollably hairy at the moment.... sam has grown his hair back, ben has some sort of black mop draped over his face and i woke up this morning resembling elvis.... my head looks like a shrubbery...

Well I do have cool multi coloured hair so maybe i could fit in somewhere
