Mmm difficult timing is the problem, we dont have a great deal of time and Trev on sound does not have preset chanels, I have just spoken to him and he says he can write down the setting as he goes and then set them before they start playing, how does that sound? Trev is also in Under The Thumb so he has to do his own sound as well, lots to do but I am sure we can get round it all:) Can you get there for 5.30pm as well and we will see if we can get in early, there how ever are no guarantees> Sue

What I'll be doing will be completely independant of what trev is doing, expet I am going to be stealing the 3 vocal mics that go through the PA's signal (either by the direct out or channel insert). The other plus side to the method of recording im using is it wont affect the sound in the venue at all. The key thing is that all the levels the band produce on stage go through my desk and into my computer without clipping and without being too quiet.

I will also be bringing enough mics and 32 channels of desk, so if you want you could put other things through the PA for a more balenced sound, its up to trev though.

Shall I setup next to sound and lighting or at the back? or somewhere else? cause I've got 2 mixing desks and a computer so i dunno where it would be easiest for you to squeeze me in?

Cheers sue Smile

Best for you to discuss it with Trev when you are setting up.
I think you would be safer to go in between Sound and Lighting I think I should squeeze you all in, hard to say, but we will sort it out some how Smile
