there are definate pros and cons
I reckon there comes a point though where it becomes dangerous especially in such a small venue, I went to see The Movielife set with Set Your Goals the other night at the Kingston Peel which has a larger standing area then the diner and it was still manic but the major difference was that it had a raised stage. My last band Forever Red played the 2005 halloween show at the diner where someone broke their ribs so I doubt anyone at the diner wants that
when At Odds play the diner we'll be encouraging to have a good time and turn it into a party! we well don't want people getting hurt. We're really looking forward to playing
