Covers?

when it comes to covers
i prefer it when whoevers doing the cover makes it their own
for example
whole lotta love by led zeppelin was taken from a willie dixon song
but most ppl only know the song for jimmy pages guitar riff
so itll be a zeppelin song forever
btw
theres on rule that should always be followed when ure thinkin of covers
DO NOT cover a led zeppelin or jimi hendrix song
nobody can do it justice
ive heard ppl like steve vai absolutely ruin hendrix and no one has ever done a led zeppelin cover without making it sound like heavy metal
which you cant do with zeppelin lol
