what ever happened to....?

Ah... not just the name of a great Buzzcocks song... but a genuine question-type-thing..... here's yer chance to talk about things that you miss from when you were younger that you just don't see anymore... you have to start the sentence with 'whatever happened to....' like this:

Whatever happened to...... the penny farthing?.... back in my day you would see gentlemen atop their mighty bicycles in their top hats and tails, but nowadays it's all cars and hoverboards....

Whatever happened to..... hoverboards?.... After seeing Back To The Future, i was convinced that by the year 2000, we would all be shooting around on these things... instead we have shoes with wheels in the heels.... Hollywood let us all down with that one....

What ever happened to... Xploader bars! It wasn't that long ago that they were around, and they were awesome! Like rice krispies and that fizzy dust stuff covered in chocolate! Oh they were lovely!

Whatever hapened to Count Duckular, and Rupert, and Spatz, and all other good children's tv programmes!

Whatever happened to New Kids on the Block?!?! They were so cool when I was 2!
