Monday Nights @ Zebra Bar Maidstone.

Hi All

I'm Dan, promoter & sound engineer for Mondays @ Zebra Bar, King St, Maidstone.

On Mondays we currently specialise in roots/americana/alternative artists from the world stage - working with Maverick Magazine we are lucky enough to be attracting some very cool artists/bands for those who like something a bit different.

Since our launch in August last year we have had a long list of legendary and just amazing people on our stage, people who have played on records and on stage with the likes of Madonna, Spice Girls, Belinda Carlisle, Johnny Cash, Robbie Williams, Elton John, Bjork ... you get the idea ... World Class players every Monday night in Maidstone! In the next few weeks we have David Knopfler who founded Dire Straits, and some great bands from Sweden, USA, Canada and the UK. If you love live music, sample our gig list on the myspace page, listen to the songs, watch the videos and come to support us - not many counties, let alone towns have a venue doing what we do!

This Monday (4th) we have two bands from California, Stewboss www.myspace.com/stewboss and Dead Rock West www.myspace.com/deadrockwest A mix of rock, power pop, americana and folk. Later in 2008 we plan to have gigs on other week nights with other types of music including local bands.

Maidstone is only up the road, am I right in thinkning this is an 18+ venue.
