Rising Stars - Battle of The Bands 2008 GRAND FINAL

I just bands to say, thank you so much to all the bands who took part and played their hearts out, I am sure you will agree it was amazing fun.
Hope everyone on the forum makes an extra special effort to come and see who the eventual winners are, and carrying on voting merily for your top 3 bands, they are all amazing, and strangly all so different from each other, so just prooves the voting has been very fair throughout the battle.

Once the votes have been counted and double checked at the end of the battle I will be presenting the prizes, so stick around right till the end if you can.

I know lots of you have already bought your BOTB T shirt so please wear them on Sunday 1st June so we can have a massive group photo!!
I still have a few t shirts left if you want to get youself one, ask as you come to the door at the beginning of the evening. Still have pleanty of badges so make sure you get one

We should also have some press coverage of the event, and hopefully some special guest, so NO MOSHING, JUMPING ONTO THE STAGE (more breakages last week) or CROWD SURFING and most of all watch out for the low ceiling fans, I dont above all want an accidents and I dont want to have to keep telling you, it is for everyone safety but above all ENJOY YOURSELVES

Lastly any ideas or suggestions for something to do with the bands through the winter @ The Diner?? Would you like another battle, or something different??

maybe with the winner of this coming back to defend their title haha

um still think theme nights would be cool....

I will look at theme nights again, will certanly do something for Halloween

yeah where the bands have to cover songs like the monster mash and songs from nightmare before christmas XD

and we can all dress up like were in the thriller video....

Yeah, when I run the next one, might have to find a larger venue for the semi's and the final, so everyoe can get in comfortably

MED 1 and MED 2 lolz

I got U's in both of them when I took in January, but they're my last exams for this year (Y)
