Piercings/Tattoo's

Post  Ilch on Mon Jan 21, 2008 8:18 pm

Just realised unlike most forums, there is no thread on piercings and tattoo's. Just wondering what if anything has done?

As for myself I have 2 piercings, my tounge and a surface piercing on the back of my neck. I would like to have more, I however have a phobia of needles so i'm not great with them.

With tattoo's, i'm yet to be inked, however I will be in August when I turn 18 I think with my signature below tattoo'd somewhere in old edwardian script.

Haha, my dearest mother can not stand piercing or tattoo's (she doesnt even have her ears done) but has two sons who love them, so she is learning to deal with it.

My tounge cost about £35 i think from InSkin in Tunbridge Wells, I would recomend it to anyone, the guys there Steve is great, a thourougly nice bloke.

It did not hurt much, like a pinch of skin and the swelling went down in a matter of hours. Beware however as my brother had his done, at InSkin too and his body reacted differently and could not speak properly for a week!! So be careful, make sure its at a time when nothing important is going on, no school, work, gigs ect. and prepare to have trouble eating, potentialy for a number of days (for me it was a matter of hours but thats a different issue).

But after all that, i'd say do it, its well worth it.

+ the ladies like it too. A friend on mine brought me a vibrating toung bar for christmas Wink however i am yet to use it though.

used to be unable to walk past a piercing studio without getting a hole or two... had my eyebrow, traggis (think that's what it's called) and three or four in each ear..... that's in long haired paul days.... now i have none... the human body is already beautiful.... art is everything... everything is art.... Very Happy

it's the bit just in your ear hole, next to your cheek... a lump of gristley stuff... the most painful piercing.... but i quite like pain, so i was ok... mine fell out, didn't realise i am allergic to silver, i now have a lovely scar... Very Happy

Post  InWithTheOutCrowd on Mon Jan 21, 2008 9:21 pm

i will win anyday.

i have soem of the best scars, i had an inch deep hole through my kneecap, which got infected, there was no skin left on my knee so the doctor couldnt stich it up, you could see the bone, and then split back open twice.

i have a scar all across my chest from when i was younger, i have a scar on my knuckle, about 7 on my arms and god knows how many from rollerblading.

(im just a bit accident prone)
